yes fully covered.
now it's just a waiting game as to when I can get my check and Toyota Financial will get paid off so I can start again.

and I still plan on writing a letter to Toyota/Scion, thanking them for making such a safe car.

I feel as though I very well could have died... but I ended up with just a scratch and a sore neck.

thank you Scion!!!

Oh wow. My accident isn't as bad as yours, but knowing your precious xA is smashed up, it never feel new like it used to be. Mine is only 2 months old and it's like this.....

Well, your little xA did the best it could at protecting you. With only a scratch and a sore neck, you came through OK. Sad to see her so torn up, but she did her job.

Glad to hear you're OK.

I am SO sorry to see this...

But thank you for making me feel better about my purchase. I have a three year old, it is good to see that the car is extremely safe, I have seen this all over the boards and most walk away with little or no injuries.

If you want to know what good comes out of things like this, just know it comes with a sound mind in at least one area of parenting...wihich I am sure any parent can attest to, is a hard thing to get...;)

Wish you the best, hope it gets better soon...

Yeah I was real surprised with the safety of my xa too. I had a 04 xa and i fliped it twice with my mother and girlfriend in the car. I walked a way with bump and scratches my girlfriend had a fractured rib but that was from landing on the driver side all her wait was on the rib cause of the seatbelt.(she was in the front passenger seat) My mom just had a brused arm cuz it was out the window when we landed. I didnt get to take pics cuz i was in the hospital with myg/f but everyone said that the car didnt crumple in it kind of blew out?

So glad to hear you walked away with very minor injuries... that certainly looks like it must have one heck of an accident.

As far as the car goes... well now you can get a new one and maybe you will be even happier than you were before.

good to hear your alright. if you don't mind me asking. how did it happen? my friend has a xb and she got hit driver side by a compact car and did 2 360's(first 360 was in air and second landed hood then driver roof corner then upright) before stopping against a traffic pole. she was outside standing up and call for police like not thing happened to her. the hospital was amazed she only had two bruises. she getting another when the insurance goes through.

as long as you and everyone else is ok, then everything else is cake. cars can always be replaced. if you can, take some parts out of the car and sell em. maybe you can make some money to put towards your next car.

Dude, So sorry to hear about your accident. After I saw your pics of the accident, I know how blessed you must have felt to be able to walk away safe, sound and alive! I know it must be a shock to loose your new xA just hours after taking delivery, but as others have mentioned, cars can be replaced----you can't! Hope you can replace your xA soon! Keep us posted!
