My wife digs the xA quite a bit...she just happens to like Altimas a bit better

Yeah. . . I used to have a Lexus LS400. . . and it didn't get much attention. . . it just blended in with the 40 kazillion others on the road. The xA is just so plain weird that people remember me by it. That and most ladies I run into still have no idea what it is and who makes it. . . I usually get the "that thing is CUTE!!!!" reaction. And I'm secure in my sexuality, so I have no problem driving a car classified that way. The ladies love it, and love ladies, so no problems here.

The only complaints I've gotten. . . well (no joke). . . hahaha, it's been when I've been in the back seat. . . and . . . yeah. There's not a ton of room back there. Enough room for our road trip from Sacramento to Las Vegas, but if you're not sitting down, it's kinda cramped. I wish our front seats folded flat, like the xB/tC.

 

Chicks check m car out all the damn time, but then when they see me behind the wheel, the go pale, swerve and hit a short bus

I've had mine 7 weeks and 2000 miles. I'm peachy keen, jelly bean.

 

I love my xA! I'm from a smaller town so I was constantly being approached about what type of car it was. The first time some of my family members saw it they said it was a "cute clown car"

Oh and at school it was cool because my best friend and I both have xA's, and because they are so unique we're known for the type of car we drive.

Oh did I mention I LOVE my car?!?

 

my girlfriend loves the xA. Also other girls I know dig the car they think it is a lot of fun to just cruise around in it.

 

I get a lot of compliments from girls.... and I believe it's because they all think it's a Mini Cooper.

 

Yeah. . . I get that reaction a lot too. "It's almost like a Mini!"

 

I really think it is the area and how the car is done up... the general look is indeed a "girly" car when stock, but when modded and it becomes more "owner" it's more of a toss up then. The "brief" time I had my xA, I had quite a few ppl tell me it's more "unisex" than anything *shrugs*

Needless to say, I like the xA, lowered and wheels - guys car.. stock.. meh, girls

 

I went to go get some pricing for custom boxes and the people at one of the audio shops said, "Is that the new model of Mini?" ...I promptly got into my car and drove away.

 

I had a slidellian chick ask me what I drove once, told her I had an 01 Accord. She asked me why I didn't have a truck, she said men's s'posta drive big chevy trucks.

It looks like there's a few slidellians on here (I lived there for a year couldn't stand it), I did buy my Honda from a real D*ck of a salesman at the new Honda Dealership there, the people at the Toyota place weren't much better when I was looking. That was pre-Scion days though. I'm looking to buy a replacement commuter car in the near future and am considering one of the scions, primarily because of price, economy and reliability.
