Here are some images of my 06 Xa, a work in progress. I love the car, I always wanted a car with superb handling now I almost have it with the modifications I've made. Thanks for looking. Robert http://www.geocities.com/xetor_2000/scionxa.html

The instrument above the Tach is a Beltronics VX-2 it measures G force when cornering and braking :http://www.beltronics.com/fx.html.Its great fun to watch on a twisty road. That's how I know the car can pull .95G. The instrument that you can see thru the stearing wheel is a GPS. As for way too much on the dash, I say what dash? It's just empty space that begs for something.Even though my cars an automatic when on twisty mountain roads I shift manuely. The tach in the center of the dash is useless when your trying to watch the road.I wanted a big gauge I could read quickly. As you know the powerband on these cars is narrow, coming on @ 4K to the red line ,I find I use it every day.

i've been told that shocks and struts will also help to make a big difference with the setup you have. did you look into a g-tech pro meter before all the other stuff?

[quoteyou should also consider the front energy suspesion polyurethane endlink bushings. it really does tighten up the steering some too. others can vouge for this as well.[/quote[ Yes I feel the steering could be more precise, where can I get these?[/quote]

Just do a quick search for xA swaybar end link bushings and you'll get the part number that you need. Most Autozone stores have them in stock. You'll also need 4" grade 8 bolts (2) and nylon lock nuts (2 as well). It's a super easy install that will really tighten up the front end. Helps with body roll and steering precision as well.
BTW - Nice to see there's an older fart than me hanging out with the kids here.
