Has anybody figured out how to make the rear wiper intermittent?

intermittent? to make it stop working? or to take it out...

I believe he means to make it work like normal wipers, where it can swipe at intervals, so there are more options than "off", and "crazy fast".

haven't heard of one, but with my limited knowledge i would imagine it would "only" involve swapping the motor that runs the wiper....but then there's the problem of how to turn it on since the current wiper bar doesn't have enough "clickies"....

i know this is no help, but i tried.

Actually I would be happy if all it did was intermittent. I don't need to be able to choose between intermittent/fast. Any ideas on where to get a new motor?

i was thinking if you can install a rheostat switch to the rear wiper switch would work but i never done any thing about it cause its some thing i don't really want to mess with

Intermittent wipers are generally controlled by a relay under the dash and not the motor. I'm not quite positive that the rear wiper motor runs on a relay but the front motor does.

Thats a start in the right direction.
