my xa is in.. He said they are going to upgrade the radio tomm., and hopefully I will be able to pick it up on Wed. My only wonder is... the fuel surcharge of 13 bucks. I wonder if that is for a full tank of gas?
Anyway... needless to say.. I am stoked...................

 

fuel surcharge? that sounds fishy to me, the car isn't even in your ownership yet so there should be no reason for you to pay them to put fuel in it.

 

yeah it is weird... .but here is the kicker.... when you go to scion.com and build one... there is a option there for fuel surcharge.....so.. i have no idea what in the world it is....
my only guess.. is them filling up the tank.. but I thought most dealerships did that anyway.. when you buy a new car....????
So anyways.. my car will prolly not be ready until Wed. but i am going to the dealership tonight.. and look in the back.. where they keep the cars that have come in.. and are sold... and I am going to check on my baby..... lol
I cant wait.. until Wed...

 

Bet it is an additional charge for transportation from the dock to the dealer....

But hey, 13 bucks to get your baby is worth it!!! Congrats!!

 

It's on the Maroney sticker. I believe it is to put half a tank of gas in the car at the port, as they are shipped w/o a drop of gas in them. Cheesy? yeah, but what can you do? Your car will have a full tank when you take delivery.
