Default Lights Under Hood

I was wondering if anyone with an Xa put lights undernethe the hood. i was looking around for spots to put some 4'' cathodes, but I cant really find space. Also, I was wondering if it is possible to wiring the lights so it will turn on when I open my hood.

I'm going to do this soon... I haven't really looked into it though. It seems to me that there would be tons of places to add in some lights!

And yeah, you can have it where the ligths are on ONLY when the hoods open. You basically use a limit switch style button. (Think about how the refrig works. Same exact idea!)

Let us know if you have any luck. If not, hopefully I'll have a kit in soon, and I can tell you where I put mine.

^^^ ditto, radioshack has plenty of those switches.

Also, when wiring electrical components around the engine, be sure to seal any exposed wire!

No lights yet, but I have installed fogs and an alarm w/ one of those switches. The hardest part is probably finding a secure mounting location for the switch.

I'll show you guys the switch that I put into my car! It fits perfect! And you cannot tell a difference! I'll take some pictures when I make it home.
