Kelley Blue Book for that car in So Cal. is $12,500 in excellent condition. With the extra options maybe $13,200 at the most. Honestly here you would be lucky to get $12k.
15, 500 is way too high IMO. Hope that helps a little.

I was looking to upgrade to a prius and my 06 xa with all oem options, front and rear sway bar plus 13 thousand miles. They said it was only worth 8200 at the end before I left. They said 8 grand when we started. I owe 8600 on it, so I would have to pay them to take it, plus they said I could remove the oem accessories and sell them to get more money as they do not add to the value.
hi artgirl.
you should sell the car yourself. list it in the paper or try on autotrader.com. the dealer isnt going to give you squat for it because they want to resell it for what you could sell it for + they have to carry an x number of day warranty on it.
I just bought my silver 2005 xa with 40k miles for 10k and that includes the scion certified warranty for 7yr 100k miles on the powertrain. now, it doesnt have hardly any of the aftermarket extras you have.
I think your best bet would be to try and sell it for 12-13 with everything. then, if it doesnt sell after a month, try taking some of the after market stuff off and selling it for less. you can always sell the aftermarket stuff here, i bet there is an audience for it.
good luck getting rid of your car.
fyi.. in the hartford, ct area they are listed from 10,5k through 13k mostly stock. but, many of them are certified. I found one with 8k milies for $9500 bucks up in vermont.. but its a 4hr drive.
do some research on autotrader or cars.com and try it that way.
just remember you can buy a brand new xd for like $16.. so if you list it for $14, even though it has options.. people might want new with a full warranty for just a bit more.
I hope this info helps.

I wish I could part it out, but I don;t have the parts to take it back to stock,,,I had the dealer install the extras ans they didn't give me my old air box or steel wheels...that's what happens when you don't know any better to ask...now I know and won't let that happen again...I have lowered the asking price to 13,000. As a trade in I was offered 7,000...which is not nearly enough...
Thanks again all.
Thanks again all.
Ouch, 7 grand. I dont feel too bad anymore, but I am not trading my car either. Driving the little wheels off of it.
PS, if you want to know what if feels like when a guy gets kicked in the jews, that same feeling you got when they offered 7 grand for your car was it.
