I'm a little confused, my Maintenance Required light finally came on (where it stays on) at 7500 miles. Is that normal? I thought it was 5000 miles or does it mean blink @ 5000 and stay on at 7500?

Do you guys think that it hurt the car to go 7500 miles in between changes with conventional oil and a puralator pureone filter?

 

The maintenance required light is programmed to turn on every 5k miles. We would recommend taking your xA to a local Scion Dealer to have it inspected and diagnosed. -Alejandro

 

That car is not meant for anything over 5,000 miles.
