whether or not you have been driving since you were 11 is irrelevant.
Insurance companies are only interested in the "AGE YOU WERE FIRST LICENSED TO DRIVE" and go with that.

this pointless stunt is going to follow you around on your insurance record for the next 3 years. If it's your father's record only and you're a driver, I hope he works this out of you. Otherwise if the claim is attached to your identity, you're going to have a hard time getting any decent rate at 18 when you split off onto your own policy.

The fact that you state as well that it's a curve, I would be thankful that someone else didn't blindly come along as you were going out of control.

I have flipped a car on a curve before, and it landed on the roof. only I was going 40 and it had been raining that day and it just lost control, best to my knowledge- and I was 19 at the time. The car itself was only worth $1000 and I had only carried liability coverage.

Being licensed and playing video games are two different things. That stuff belongs on a track.

Check the junkyards for parts.

I'd just like to point out that it's things like this that make my insurance rate $4300 per year. I live in an insurance regulated state and the good drivers pay for the bad drivers. I'm 18 with a clean record, no accidents, step 12 driver, and my insurance rate is more than an 18 year old living in new york city.

So thank you, stupid teen drivers and underinsured motorists for allowing MetLife to rob me blind.

Oh sweet jesus, I feel for you!

Have you looked at Nationwide though? Metlife was giving us heinous quotes compared to anything that I've ever had, and we just went to Nationwide last week.

Massachusetts car insurance is regulated by the State Government. What that means for the common consumer/driver to my north is that they pay roughly 75% more than non-regulated states. Way to go Ted Kennedy...Nice job John Kerry.

Hmmm...I wonder if Teddy pays a lot for his car insurance, seeing as he killed someone driving drunk...not that it matters to him.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter who my provider is as the cost is the same across the board, so I insure with Met because my life/prop insurance is there too, so i can just write them one massive check every month.

My insurance is OUTRAGEOUS and I have honestly considered declaring the car as garaged at our second home which is in a non regulated state, and pay my $800 a year. $4300 is highway ROBBERY.

I pay for all the boston drivers who illegally underinsure their cars, I pay for someone's twit of a kid drifting his car on a curve, I pay for grandma who should have had her liscence pulled years ago and I pay for Johnny Hotshot who gets caught street racing.

The only way to make your insurance equal to a nonregulated state is to be a step 9 driver, which requires 5 years with no surcharges. It's really a pain if you're young but a good driver...and getting good grades doesn't help.

No fault insurance laws
I lived in quincy and the driving i seen in mass is insane. Around here if you pull out in traffic to make a left turn your going to get hit. I never understood how people in massachusetts just assume it is their right to stop 2 lanes of traffic to make their turns.

Insurance is a scam regardless of who your paying for. My wife got rear ended in 2003. Not even a scratch and no police report. The other guy filed a police report for his insurance. we are paying for that too. I got tboned by a dump truck on the highway after the guy drove into me. We are paying for that. Progressive wanted to boost are rates to 650 a month after they discovered my wifes accident. I canceled. Now they are charging us 300 dollars on a policy we canceled cause they said from the time they notified us until the end of the month we were covered by them even though we got other insurance (esurance)

we are paying 180 a month for full coverage. FU Progressive

silly people make me smile.

Okay but seriosly I had an 85 subaru and I had it for about a month and drove it illegally till i could afford my insurance... It was a 5pd and my first car so I was just driving it up and down the block till I got coverage. The first day I got it all insured and plates I was going around a corner between 30-40 ( I WAS A DUMB A$$) and the car came over a hump and started to slide. I tried to turn no help... I tried to gas and counter steer no help I wound up putting my friend through the windshield and breaking my nose... neither of us wearing seatbelts... sadly to say that wasn't the only car I totaled in a PARKING LOT being DUMB!

I watched someone get on the highway today and cut off a jeep who was driving entirely too fast in the right lane...so the jeep honked at the guy, switched lanes, and the guy got in front of him AGAIN, so they did this little dance all the way across a five lane highway at almost 90mph, and the van was so wrapped up in ____ing off the jeep that he plowed into a corolla in front of him, caused a four car accident, and spun three cars into a solid center divider. I didn't see if there were injuries or how bad they were but honestly, I wish massachusetts drivers would just leave each other ALONE and drive like normal people.

I live most of the time in vermont and it's so relaxing to drive there compared to my hour and a half commute on rts 2 and 495 twice a day.

I am a part time EMT out near boston during the summers and I have seen some of the worst accidents imaginable that could only be caused by someone driving like an idiot. No wonder i pay out the tail for insurance... people drive like idiots. They just jacked up the driving age again for people born after jan. 1 1990. It's now another six months older and you have to hold it for a year instead of six months.

You already must be 16 to get a permit, do 25 hours supervised and take 30 classroom hours/12 driving hours of education to get your liscence, and you have to have the permit six months...so this bumps the age up to almost 18 to recieve an actual liscense. All i can say is praise some higher power for getting kids off these streets.

Think about this though, if we ever did get all the unsafe drivers off the streets, do you think our insurance rates would go down?
Under writers are pretty savvy about coming up with new excuses on why are rates need to go up, and yet insurances companys are a good investment.
Seriously do you think your credit report, education level or career choice has anything whatsoever to do with your probability to get into an accident?

You've been drifting you xa since you were 11?

The messed up part is that it didn't roll all the way, but you might have tweeked the body, like the whole body. Get it checked at an alignment shop. If it's totally trashed just keep drifting it untile you roll it on the left then it should be equaled out and normal again, well with road rash and it being all messed up anyway.

you shouldnt drive ,your parents should take away your car and wait until your 18 years old and have a job to pay the bill and also pay instruance. And parents never let your kid drive a car until they have a job or until they have there licence.

I think you're asking to flip over again. You should definitely invest in a RWD if you're truely interested in drifting.
