Default New bolts under da hood

We got some new colored bolts from the UK and installed them with the countersunk washers. They go well with some of the other underhood mods. Perrin hoses along with most of the other hoses in silicone. The etching on the Killerglass and the hand made intake cover was done by myself. I also hand cut all the red plexi mirror to fit the modified hood. There is red neon under the '68 Opel GT hood scoops and 2 red LEDs on the Killerglass. So far it has turned out pretty kewl. Any other suggestions welcome. The Redline hood prop really helps. Thanx for lookin and hope ya like it.

Most of the bolts including the fender bolts are M6X16. The bolts were ordered from Tasty Nuts in the UK. The washers were ordered from someone here in the US.

Sounds like a trip to Fastenall for some stainless cap bolts.... I love the idea and your execution is great, I am leaning toward bare bones.

Fastenal is good for nutserts and stuff but when Ronna, my book keeper, wanted to start modding her Xa she knew she wanted a theme and wanted to be different. Her having seen what I have done building street rods and what is available, she asked if there is ever a choice to show her the different options. She has been patient and done the things one at a time so that most of it works well together. Rather than buying everything at once and just doing stuff to have it. I have to admit she keeps me busy doing something almost every week. Even if it's something small like these bolts. The countersunk washers came with stainless steel allen head bolts but I suggested colored bolts to add a little more detail. She was pleased and you know what they say. "The customer is always right". So thanx from her and I for the compliments. I know it's not everyone's taste but again, she wants details. So far it works. She is thrilled that it has been in 5 shows and has one "best Wild XA/XD twice, "Best Paint" once, and 2 "First Place XA/XD" class trophies. It's fun to see her smile going up to get the trophies. It is never expected and she shows her enthusiasm in being "United by Individuality". She bought it with the intention to mod it and she is doing what Scions were meant for. I hope anyway. Thanx again and keep watchin. Interior is coming. Dash is out of the car and almost done. And as always, ideas are always welcome. And if anyone ever needs any help, just write or PM me. I never mind sharing knowledge.

I had rather see someone sweat the details than see a bunch of mods slapped on a car...

This coming from a man that waxes his rear sway bar...
