Default New XA Owner in Southern California

Hi all,
I just bought my new Scion XA this past weekend. So far I'm very happy with it. Why did I buy it? Purely on getting the best mpg for the price. Hope it turns out well.

Congratulations. Ugh, another practical person driving an xA. (Sounds like me)

That's my reasoning too. I also liked that it's practical without being entirely snooze worthy - it's a fun car if you love it for what it is.

Welcome and those were the main reasons I bought mine. The others being that I like the looks, it's built by Toyota and you don't see another one sitting at every other light.

that makes 3. The first time i saw the xB i thought, "That is the UGLIEST car I have ever seen." Then I saw the xA and said, "That looks like a damn rollerskate!" It's been growing on me ever since. To the point that the xA is the only car that I wanted as my first new car. There are a lot of faster cars, but last time I drove a fast car, I got 4 speeding tickets in just about a year.

Welcome to the Family, Tom! you made the right choice in Scions

In all actuality I was exactly like you though. I thought the box and the xA were both hideous. The xA grew on me, and I don't even really hate the boxes anymore. Don't get me wrong, they're still ugly, but in a unique way that makes them kinda cool.

yeah, the boxes have a lot more potential as show cars, the egg has more as a go car. Boxes have a ____e load of headroom, I went from a box to my egg, and I was a lil claustraphobic.
