Default A noob question about sponsers

Ive lurking around here for a while and i have a question. I clicked on a sponser link and i was wow this is to good to be true so i filled it out. They sent me a reply asking for visa info and wanted to bill me $89. and that they had sponsers who could hook me up with goodies for bone stock xA. Has anyone done this ? Is it legite and a good deal? I ussually just save my money and buy what i need, and save some more for the next mod. Any input would be appreciated.

kms2112, the noob =)

Probably not legit, thats what my gut feeling is.

I'd get a few parts for your car, go to shows, meet people. I wouldn't go with some hokey 'sponsor' on the internet.

Agreed, they said had to go to three meets a year and show the car anyway. I dont want to be a dog on their leash. I have saved enough for the factory wing, and get the dealer to install it and save some more for other mods. ty for the input.

well... most sponsors require some sort of contract anyway.

but if you're talking about what i think you're talking about... then unless you want a few hundred dollars worth of stickers on your car.... i wouldn't waste the effort, time or money.

Once you get out there, get into shows, you'll meet people looking for cars to sponsor, or just meet people who can get you better deals.
