Default OEM xA Door Ding Protectors Installed....PICS

I always had one problem with the xA and that is that it does not have anything to protect the doors when someone opens their door into your car. I hate door dings probably more than anyone so I bought the factory OEM door bumpers that come on the ist in Japan. They were ordered in body colour and just stick right on. For anyone looking to prevent door dings, these babies will give you a nice clean look. Here are the photos:

Oh man... I like!

Not a big fan of the ist badge though. I suggest replacing your grille badge and other badging throughout the car.

Thanks for the compliments. I actually like the ist badge but I won't be changing any other badges on the car. In Canada where I live they don't sell Scions so the cool factor is too much to pass up.

I got the strips at www.newscionparts.com and they were $189.00 . Their service was EXCELLENT and I would recomend them to anyone. The only downside is that you have to wait 4 weeks for the parts to arrive from Japan.

how did you get yours and will Toyota Canada honor the US warranty

maybe a dumb question...

what are they made of, is it that hard rubber kind of material?

I really like the way they look, like they belong there, and fit real nice into the other lines of the car

Very nicely done on the molding. I also like the contrast between your rims and the Indigo Ink.

Well guys the moldings paid for themselves on the weekend. Came out and found a scuff on the paint and on the molding from a door. Upon closer inspection it was obvious that someone really smacked the molding and deformed the door enough to mark the paint. Luckily the door popped back and all the scuffs buffed right out with a little rubbing compound. If it were not for the strips the door would have FOR SURE been dented.

God, I can even get it in RS1 color. Can the iST badge be removed? Kind of takes away from my RS1...
