It was love at first sight.

I've been following the ScionLife forums for a few week now, yesterday I decided to make up my mind on what to get. Today I placed my order for the Scion xA RS02. Such a beautiful little car, and the RS2 added the options I wanted at an excellent price! I will take care of the wheels in due time.

Those of you that have ordered a Scion in the past, how long did it take for you to get your car?

It's pretty nuts, I don't even own the car yet and I already have a small list of things that will be done!

 

Congrats! You are going to LOVE owning an xA. When I ordered mine, it took about 8 days for it to come in. When you get it, be sure to post pics!

As you can imagine I have a bunch of questions regarding the xA. My first one would be does the xA come with a cargo cover for the boot (trunk)? When I get my RS2 I'm going to be putting my stero in ASAP and I would like to know if there is a way to keep curious people from looking at the sub in the boot.

 

Took me two days to get my barebone xA. I've had it close to 5 months and still love every minute driving it

And to answer your question, the xA comes with a cargo cover for the trunk area.

 

I'm making plans to get an xA RS 2.0 as well. I love the blue color and the four doors(vs.the 2-door tC)and hopefully the gas mileage will be in the 30's somewhere. That grille looks nice as do the foglights. Plus all of the interior illumination will be very cool. Can't wait to order it and get it!

The RS 1.0 is nice as well. IMHO these RS's xA's make the car ever more a Mini-Cooper fighter, know what I mean? The stock xA is all right, but the RS packages make the car look so much cooler.

Will do, I checked in to see if they can change my order priority today. Thankfully I'm a retail store manager so I know how the system works. :D I told them the longer they wait the more mileage my trade-in will have.

 

Mine is going to be here on Tuesday so I am going to be driving a rental 2005 Corolla S lol. That should be interesting.

well fair warning, after driving the corolla you'll wish the xA had the corolla engine and it will feel sluggish, but it will handle better.

I miss my xB but I am pretty sure it will be worth it to be the first person in Tulsa with an RS 2.0. Neat!

 

Bleach2.0, have you heard anything from your Scion dealer if your getting the RS2 today?

I'm still waiting, more patiently since last week though.

 

It is in transit so it will either be here tonight when I am at work but definately by tomorrow. I would rather it come in tomorrow because if I am at work and it get's here, it's going to suck knowing that I can't go pick it up lol.

 

I know exactly what you mean. That really would suck.

 

Call your dealer and ask him if the status on the your xA is A or I, A still means it's at the dock and I means in transit.
