Default plan to change OD button and shift ****: assistance Please

Ok i cannot seem to find what i'm looking for, I am looking to change out my shift ****, and i am aware of the OD button, and i am unwilling to spend over a hundred bucks for that razo shift **** with od.

What i want to know (or see) is how the od button looks like when not installed. how easy is it to relocate? thus far i have not seen a faq or guide on how to do so, and was unable to locate in the xa manual before my daily limit.
thank you for any assistance

Well there was a thread similar to this, but I guess there wasn't a really clear answer.

This guy changed his OD button near the cup holder. Notice the small button between the cup holders. This guy moved the button there. I don't know how he does it since no one really said much in the previous threads.

I am really curious how you're suppose to do this since I am planning to change my shifter.

I've seen those threads as well. but again just pictures and no discussions on how to do so.

on some of those ***** i think they have the lock continually depressed and i think it may be dangerous, what was to happen if it gets shifted into reverse while on the freeway. dangerous.

anyone with the xA manual (or full access to it) know where it is discussed/displayed?

I think those..you just have to hold on them when you change them. Besides, it takes at least two tries to change it on R if you're on the freeway. I know it because one time I accidently moved my dad's shifter with my leg. I could only move it to N.
