Window goes down great. Start to go up. It goes a few inches and stops. After a min. or so will go up another few inches or so. Been doing this for a long time. I cannot find any circuit breakers on this motor. I do not know what else would cause the problem. There is a 25 amp relay that operates that motor but that would not cause the problem I am having.
Even if I try to manually grab the window and help it go up. No difference. Only a few inches. Motor out. Tests great. I understand no load. Took the motor apart. Armature, stator everything is clean, nothing burnt and the brushes are excellent. Any suggestions. As I said it will go up. But not at one time.

10 years it probably needs to be re-greased on the guide tracks for rollers.

 

Hi Guys, I've been scanning the posts here. My passenger window has ceased to work from the master and passenger door switch. I tried the reset trick, no avil. I opened the panel, replaced the switch and motor w. assembly. Now the switch will turn the motor gear one way, and not the other. The window is unresponsive to the master switch. It does how ever respect the window lock. Tried Win.relay as well. thanks for the attention
