Default RS 1.0 xA

There's one at my local dealership - trying to decide to act now or wait. How long have they usually stayed in stock at your local dealer?

haha, our dealership might be a bad example. but, we have three sitting on the lot. if i do a locator, half the xA's in the region are red. with that being said, they aren't going to get anymore. so if you like it, and can afford it...why not? and thats a serious question, not a salesman thing. if there is a good why not, then don't.

I must say, I bought the right car at the right time. I knew I was going to buy an xA, but didn't think I would be approved for the loan on the RS, but when I was there was no question in my mind that it was the car I was getting.

Have never been happier with an impulse purchase in my life...

we are on number 4 so far-we had to trade for this one since we sold the 3 previous ones so quickly. If you are ready go for it-at least its available-a week or so later could change everything.

my sticker was somewhere around $15,300... or something like that, but then i added floor mats, cruise, etc. which bumped it up a bit. I didn't think scion did any price b.s. w/ their 'pure price' philosophy.... was yours above 16k w/o any extras?!

I paid MSRP for mine. So with floor matts it was around $15,300. Living in Oregon I didn't have any tax to pay either.

None of the Scions stay on the lot very long around here, regardless of whether they are the RS 1.0 or not. I will say however that I love my RS 1.0 and suggest you go and at least give it a test drive before it's gone.

My local dealer has had a RS on the lot for about 6 weeks now. It's funny, but you wanna know what I think? I honestly believe that the xA is not a super popular car as it is. With that in mind, if you build and ship 1550 of them all in one color, there is a good chance that you will see that model more than any other. I think they over-estimated the number of xAs that would sell in the U.S., and now there are more of the "limited" models available than any other color. If they really wanted the RS to be rare and limited, maybe they should have only made like 500 of them. Oh well, I still think they look awesome.

My sticker was exactly $15,195 in Springfield, MO. Bought it one week ago tonight! That included $515 destination fee. I saw one in Texas over the holiday weekend with a sticker of over $16K... I was shocked... I thought they were all the same everywhere.

I'd buy it right away. I didn't sleep all weekend after looking at it late one Saturday. I was worried sick that someone else slipped it and got it before me. Lucky for me, they'd had it for about a month and sold it twice before only to have the deals fall through... one because you can't ship them to Hawaii for some reason from the mainland.
