the rs2's are a 05 model... comepare the 06's and 05's and you can tell easy ;) i bought mine in june of 05

 

well considering the tC 2.0 just hit the floors....and it was annoucned after the xB 3.0 was rleased and about a month off...id expect the xA 3.0 to be about the same maybe a few weeks after the tC 2.0 hits the floors information will be either leaked or released!

Page 48 has a paint chip for 8T4 Blue Metallic

 

nice find...that book is pretty cool

 

Can't tell much from that paint chip, looks kinda grey on there, I'm assuming it'll look silvery blueish? Does Toyota use it for any other cars?

 

a lot of the scion colors are rejects from older model lexuses- so it might have appeared on at least one lexus model.

hmmm, not my cup of tea, but it may be better on the xA than the Matrix, ya never know...

 

My thoughts exactly. Isn't scion suppose to be a stand out brand? This color is just boring. I sure hope this isn't the color for the RS.

Scion's killed the xA with boring colors. C'mon, offer a brighter red, yellow, orange, a bright blue... it's sad really.

I agree with Zack and Iyzmi. The Xa is far to cool a car to be saddled with just six color choices that look more at home on a Camry or Corolla. While I love my IIP, if Envy Green had been a choice for my XA, I would have ordered it in a New York minute. Hot Lava would have been my second choice. I do hope the next Xa Rs will be an exciting color, making it very desirable and collectable.

 

I wish they still made the red RS color. I see one every day on the way to work. I love it!

OK, it's June. A bump for ... WTF Scion?

 

They are keeping this under heavy lock and key. A friend of mine is a design engineer for Toyota. Right now he is working on the new "tall wagon" coming out of Georgetown, KY. He is in charge of the interior and the exterior paint. He loved talking about this, but when I asked him about the RS3, you could tell he got a little nervous and clammed up.

They are keeping this really quiet

 

That's for sure. There isn't even any info on the releasethethree.com site!
