i have an 06 xa 200k miles with a strange no start problem.


when I go to start the car it turns over normally but wont fire, I turn the key off then try to start it again and it fires right away and starts running. now if I keep the key held long enough (maybe 10-15 seconds) it starts up running rough and I get all misfire codes but nothing else


side issues may or may not be connected, gf says it sometimes feels like its lost power or sputters, some times stuggles to get to 65(I have yet to feel this)


parts I have replaced
Plugs
2 coils (had codes for)
crank sensor

 

Have you ever cleaned the MAF sensor? I've had a dirty MAF sensor before which caused the xA to run so bad it would stall after a few seconds.

 

i have not, ill try cleaning that tonight and update in the a.m., im thinking my issue may be the fuel pressure regulator but need to find a way to verify....
