Hey party people...

I posted this same thing in the 'Aero & Exterior' section, but not many people have looked over there and I was hoping for a response soon as I would like to buy one soon. And since many more people surf this forum, I was hoping by posting it here I might have more success.

Anyways...I am thinking about buying a stubby antenna from carccessory.com to replace the stock one and I was wondering if those who have replaced their stock antenna with a stubby antenna could post a picture of their antenna on their car.

If you could also write which stubby antenna you have, if you like it or not and if it was easy to install....I don't care about the reception that much (cds, MP3 player is pretty much all I use)...I was hoping for J-series picture especially, but the more styles the merrier!

Spamming is prohibited and all you have to do is search or look through the xA picture thread.

 

Wow...umm, I don't know if this is considered spamming, as this is just the second thread I posted on this topic in two different places...I did use the search function and could not find easily any pictures on xA's of stubby antennas from different topics...

I also did look at the xA pictures and I did see some there,(not many, as some are hard to make out from the angle or distance) but the pictures do not tell me which kind they are and they do not tell me if the owners like them or not...

If this post is considered spam (which I personally don't think it is) then the mod can go ahead and lock/delete it if they would like, but I was hoping that someone here can help me out...

(On a side note, why can't you just ignore the post instead of posting a response like that...I wasn't trying to be abnoxious about it or anything...I just would like to know as soon as possible as I want to have my xA the way I like it before my brothers and some friends come out and see it. For the most part people on these forums have been really nice and helpful, but I always hate when people have to spoil it by writing up posts like yours....anyways, enough of me blabbing )

 

Sup man I've been wanting a stubby antenna for a while too, I ordered the I-series from Carcessory the other day. It shipped yesterday, I'll post again when I get it... pics, likes/dislikes... maybe I will make a video instead! :D My camera has some cool video features.

That would be much appreciated! What color I-series antenna did you go with, black or silver? I bet either color is going to look nice on your PW xA...though pretty much any mod looks good on the PW xAs :D

Before I posted, I tried searching just 'antenna' and 'stubby' etc and couldn't really find much....and i actually did see the same posting as the one you provided the link to (thank you btw), but the thing is, there is only one picture for that posting (happens to be yours, and the antenna looks good)...

I was kind of hoping for more pictures and a wider variety of replaced antennas, not so much just words or questions about the antennas...thanks for trying to help out though!

Hmm... Personally I'm wondering how well my I-series that's on it's way will fit the mount, so while photoshoppin' might do the trick for looks, functionality and fit it will not. I just decided to order and find out the hard way hehe...

When i got mine, it came with two mounting screws of different sizes. just pick and choose which will fit and install

 

I'll take some pics of mine tomorrow. Yes, they suck. I used to be able to listen to Chicago stations here in Wisconsin, now I can't. But if you listen to CDs or have satellite radio, you wouldn't care.

 

Can you get a close up of where the antenna fits the mount please?
