I just got my car this week and have been eager to drive it and then....WHAM! 6" on the ground and thanks to lowering the car an inch and having 18's, I am really stuck! Stalled out 4 times just trying to get it out. I am sure that's not good for the tranny. Looks like I am going to have to wait another week to drive

Anyone else get snowed in and where are you located? I am in NYC.

Nope, called snow tires

 

I wish we had 6 inches of snow. Where I'm at on Long Island we got about 3-4 inches of ice, came down as ice and just froze into one solid sheet. Didn't have no problems with the xa cuz I had nowhere to go lol way too tired from breaking up ice all morning.

 

i find driving in the snow fun and easy with my lowering springs installed

 

Now I just wished I had the stock wheels! My rear tires are about 6" in the hole.

 

Apparently me standing outside spraying hairspray everywhere didn't do enough ozone depletion.

Yeah, you cant really drive in the snow with those sorts of wheels. Grab a winter set off Tirerack or somewhere for $400. You'll need 'em.

 

im in central jersey and I had no problems with my tc dropped two inches on stechs, although I did anticipate some problems...

 

we got about a foot and a quarter, in north jersey, had no problems

ive driven through 2 feet, snowing for 3 days straight up here in PA, and had no problems, and im dropped 2"

 

I'm in NYC.. Brooklyn. and I didnt have a problem. ok, maybe Friday evening driving condition wasnt too good. But thats only the local street... didnt have too much problem Saturday getting the car out of the parking space. had to remove some snow and it was all good.
