Sorry, I'm an Xa newb.
Wait, you bought a used 2004 xA, and you are swapping out the tranny? wtf I don't understand. Or are you ordering a brand new 2006 xA with a stick?

so we're on the same page with the mysterious switch?
AUX for the ipod i wish i had. theres a strange wire under my passenger seat and i have not a clue what its for. maybe thats it.
Im not sure about the wire under your pass. seat. But it does have a weight sensor under it, that causes a lil safety light to come on when it feels a certain amount of weight on it.
