Default switch below shifter and stock wheel gap

i just bought an 04 xa and the dealer didnt have a manual for me.(being ordered)
anyways what is the switch near the shifter for?

also whats the aprox. wheel gap on a stock xa? mine just looks too low to be stock.

Yeah, I've noticed this switch as well and I really don't know what it does.

I did a search on the forums but didn't find anything relating to this switch.

is the switch on the shifter or near it? I know if its on the shifter its the over drive. if its off the shifter maybe its the aux button for your ipod?

Wait, you bought a used 2004 xA, and you are swapping out the tranny? wtf I don't understand. Or are you ordering a brand new 2006 xA with a stick?

Ahh okay. It's the aux button in my case. Now how do I go about hooking it up to my iPOD?

Hey that doesn't make you a bad person.

Someone smack me if I'm wrong but stock wheel gap is approx 4.75 inches. At least it was on my RS2.

so we're on the same page with the mysterious switch?
AUX for the ipod i wish i had. theres a strange wire under my passenger seat and i have not a clue what its for. maybe thats it.

Im not sure about the wire under your pass. seat. But it does have a weight sensor under it, that causes a lil safety light to come on when it feels a certain amount of weight on it.
