Default Tanabe springs fitted!

Me again

Springs are fitted! I'll be getting up pics soon, but i've got a question!!

The rear springs seem to have lowered the car alot more than the front ones!
Is it just me or is this possible???!!!?

Someone's also told me that the front springs will not show much of a drop until they settle.... said 2 weeks should have them settled.... is this true??

I'm a lil worried that i made a bad choice of springs

the difference in the drop between the F and R is only .1 inches ... the rear shouldnt be lower then the front at all considering stock the front is lower then the rear and you only changed that ratio by .1 inches...

post up some pics so we can see what you are talking about

I just had a look through the tech article and found this:

You can now put the rear suspsension back together. See how easy that was?! Just take note that as with the front, springs will not settle into the proper drop right away. In most cases, it takes about 2 weeks to properly settle to the proper height, though most of the rear will settle while you're working on the front springs.
So I guess it's normal then for the front to look a little higher at first.
Or i could be looking too hard? hmmm

just wait for them to settle.

Also don't forget to get an alignment done in a few weeks. your toe will most likely be off.

Toe.

Stand over your front wheels. Imagine that the wheels are pointing outwards, or inwards to your point of view. That's toe. It greatly reduced ride and handling, as well as increased tire wear.

right ok thanks for that.... so i'll wait for springs to settle...then take it for alignment.

it should need it since ive actually just changed my rims and tyres too!

wheels and tires don't really change the alignment, unless you were meaning that since you don't wasnt to ruin your new rubber.
