Who has the best selection and prices for TRD Parts. I found Carson ( http://www.newscionparts.com/index.php?id=51 ) and Sparks ( http://www.trdsparks.com/ ), but there has to be others with good prices. If you know of someone, post up.

www.mcgeorgeparts.com is good too

 

TRD parts are overrated. What are you looking to buy? I can probably reccomend you a better par t than what TRD offers.

Front and Rear Strut Bar is what I am looking at right now....

 

Both are nearly useless. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

 

nothing useless about either, i actualy preffer the drive with them.
i've yet to pop them on the xa yet, but past rides drove much better.
But millions of people could be wrong, just look at baywatches ratings back in the day

 

front strut bar is useful i don't like the trd ones design. a rear shock brace has already been discussed.

 

Exactly, you've yet to put them on your xA. First off, the front struts are so close to the firewall that a front strut bar won't really do a heck of a whole loot to stiffen the chassis, as that point is already very stiff.

Secondly, the way the rear suspension is designed, a rear stut bar does nothing as it simply connects the two shocks together. It does not connect any points of the chassis together.

If you'd like to waste your money, feel free. I can't stop you on that one.

 

Strut Bars -> Not totally helpful.
SWAY Bars -> Probably what you actually want.

 

You are correct about the front strut tower bar. It will not greatly increase the stiffness of the chassis. The rear strut bar will improve the stiffness of the chassis over nothing. If you want a stiff chassis, weld in a roll cage.

HOWEVER … the question for this thread was “Who has the best selection and prices for TRD parts?”

Right now it looks like trdsparks.com has the selection, and mcgeorgeparts.com has the prices.

 

Anyone have opinions of the TRD shocks? How do they compare to stock and other similar aftermarket products?
