USA Today reviews the xA

Besides being underpowered and small room inside, the guy seemed to really like it.

It's green!, it's green!
The xA's in the top 12 of greenest cars in 2004.
:D heh, I keep saying that.

ouch. how can anyone think that was a good review. he ragged on it about everything but the handling. what do they know anyway. he should try comparing it to other cars in it's price range and then maybe he would have given it the respect it deserves.

Ever notice how most of the "professional" auto reviewers are not in the Scion target demographic? This, of course, plays right into Toyota's marketing strategy. Every time some wizened old Boomer disses the Scion, it actually creates positive spin for the brand among that segment of the population that holds Boomer opinions and values in contempt....

I think this sums it up to a "T":
I wonder if, in the next couple of years, Toyota will put in a bigger engine? Maybe the 1ZZ-FE? I think that'd be very entertaining.
Classy, distinctive, underpowered.
