Water = check engine

Hey all,
Had the xA 560 miles, a couple days ago check engine light went on and i brought it to the dealership, they said it is a common prob with scions, water got into a fuel canister (somethin like that). So here I am the next day and the check engine light is back....not to thrilled at alljavascript:emoticon('

'). Anyone know anything bout this?

means they moved it into the correct forum.

As far as the check engine light..It could be a number of things..Its NOT common for the light to come on unless there is a problem .

Get the code and let me know what it is..

I just picked up my xa 2.5 weeks ago, 800 miles or so same thing, after a hard rain my light went on, the car was dropped off at service this morning, so I'm waiting to hear from them.
By the way white99gt, it is common as far as I'm concerned, this happened to me a few times with my 01 celica gt, same exact scenario, not sure where you are getting your information.
