Default Well I did it...Traded in the xA

I loved the car, nothing against it except its lack of power. I didn't buy it for power, but after having it for a year, i realized I really missed it.. so...

I'm picking up a 2002 Civic SI after work tomorrow

Big plans for it

I'll probably still be floating around on the forum, thanks for the help I've gotten over the last 12 months with my xA!

dang. . . I considered the Si, but the looks never grew on me. That and the dealer mark up was insane. . . for $24k I personally would have opted for a CPO BMW 330ci. But congrats on the purchase.

I opted for an '07 tC to replace my xA. . . it was the best fit for me.

Congratulations. 10k in trade seems a bit low, no? Did they have to hide some of the upsdide down in the SI?

btw, this really belongs in the "all other vehicles" forum.... not that I'm paying attention

lets see some pictures of your SI. Im thinking of trading my tC too with the new civic ex or Si but i heard that civics have the same problem too with the throttle delay (Drive-by-wire).

My xA had 19 k and I got offered 11,000 when I tried to trade it in back in September. The only reason why I was offered thousand more is I was returning costumer of Carmax and if I bought another new car off of them; they would pay for my sales tax and fees up to 600. So 10 grand seems about right....

It's an easy mod on Honda's to swap out the drive by wire, fyi.

i keep forrgetting to take some pics but i will

and i honestly dont have any idea if its drive by wire, ive been donig research on the motor (more so than i did before i purchased it) and havent come across that yet

Otherwise i LOVE the car, its very high quality and has alot of power even though it has the weakest variation of the k20 motor

should be adding a couple bolt on's this month to keep me satisfied through the winter before i tackle some more serious mods
