I also ask you one more question do you guys think thatt 12,600 is a fair price for my xA with 18K milles and about 1,300 dollers in dealer options? also any advice for selling my baby would be appreiceated (im kinda hopin to sell before mid feb when my credit unions intrest rates gose up half a percent)

Man, hate to see you go, but I can understand the reasons.....

I think that is a very fair price, just be sure to really wax it up before you put it out to pasture...

Fair price, I bought mine with 10k for 12,500 and a few dealer accessories and some cheapo rims.

here is some sales advice.

when or if you go to a dealership, do all that you can to RIP THEM A NEW ONE.

they will make 10k on other people (trust me i used to sell cars)

make sure you pay STICKER price after ALL OTHER OPTIONS INCLUDING FULL WARRANTY, GAP, ETC..

if you can get out the door, after taxes, after gap, after warranty, at sticker price. you got a real good deal, and they made maybe 100 bucks on you. but this is only good on a brand new car.

if your going to buy a used tC, get the price of the trade value they gave the previous owner, then go 100 bucks over that ONLY. Make sure it is his REAL trade in price of the previous owner. ( For example, if the used tC is 15k on the sticker, they probally gave the previous owner 8-10 grand for it. if it is real close to about 3-7 thousand difference, then that is it.)

if they really want business, they'll do it.

just my .02

you're getting married right? sooner or later you're gonna have a family... why not stick with something that has four doors? just a thought. and, yeah i think 12,600 is a pretty decent price to sell your xA. well, good luck to you man.

I looked at the tC when I was itching to get rid of my xA. Not impressed. Too slow and plain for me. I bought a 2002 Maxima with a 6 speed and 255hp. Not slow or plain at all!

But hey, congrats on the new car. Scion is a great car company I'll be back someday....

Is that the Maxima that has the narrow sunroof front to back??

Looks like a Piggy Bank.

gd2, I like your choice.

I made the same switch. . . it's just getting used to it. The clutch is fairly "grabby," so you'll have to be patient. Plus, being that the car is new adds to the grabbiness. The main thing you will have to get used to is that the revs drop a lot slower. . . but the clutch is perfectly fine and normal.
