As the title hints, this well respected Honda/Nissan company is finally coming to the light (lol) and doing some Scion parts. There is a thread in the xD forum (https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=173957), and I thought we could put one here too.
What they do is machine aluminum (lugnuts, shiftknobs etc.) and make dry carbon fiber parts (in house). They also get aluminum extruded, powder coated and anodized (out sourced). They make short shifters for all kinds of Hondas, so I'm sure they could make them for us too.
So, what are you interested in?
I have already mentioned to them,
CF: Engine cover, and powerchamber intakes.
A short throw shifter, some suspension pieces (braces mostly)
Something I just thought of was a dry carbon intake manifold.
So come on people, add your own ideas or second other peoples.

Dropping in from the xD side, I'd like to second the notion, and urge you all to get some ideas going! Steve, King, and all the guys at PWJDM are very hard working, and are eager to get into the Scion world, so take this seriously and know that what you're doing will, in all sense, help out the xA community, and the Scion community as a whole!
and damn...a CF intake mani huh? that sounds pretty intense, I'd definitely like to see it!

I was thinking about a grille, but what type of design? like a stock one, or more like the Kenstyle/RS2 "Fish mouth"? I personally like this type better, the wide open just tickles my fancy.
I'd like to see a CF spoiler if possible since we don't have too many to choose from. I like the grille idea, and also fancy the design of the Kenstyle or RS2 grilles.
A hood would be nice, but I'm not sure if the price will be any better than other places that have hoods since it's a big piece.
All the stuff from TI was good, if you're gonna copy-paste it here.

dyoungn':
-Cheap and effective harness bar for aftermarket seats
-rear seat delete kit
-def. hoods and spoilers (with a hood that ducts are to the driver side for the intake, possibly a matching intake/hood combo)
-chassis braces or subframe braces or connectors
-CF front fenders, hatches
-side mirror delete kits
-rear hatch/strut brace
Nick:
This is great news! ...if it's true. I really hope they start making some pieces for the xA. They make some of the cleanest, sexiest CF pieces I have ever seen, ever.
On top of my list would be ANY type of functional CF intake and manifold. Just tubing, SRI type or a nice looking powerchamber like they make for Honda's, I would buy any of them. They would look very nice with my CF engine cover.
Also CF hoods and spoilers for sure. I'd love to have a CF spoiler to go with a CF hood as soon as I get around to buying one. Dry carbon is a plus, but I doubt I'd be willing to spend the $$$ that they request for that stuff.
I'd also like to see someone besides JIC make a CF front strut tower brace, again it would look awesome with my CF engine cover and intake if they made one.
However I already have my suspension done, and like it so I wouldn't be buying anything they offer unless it's a new design and it proves to work better.
They do exhaust work too don't they? I'd love to have another quality option for a cat-back besides the Borla unit.
CF OEM type mirrors would be a nice thing to have, or real CF mirror covers.
Ohhh yeah, and how about a CF triple or double gauge pod for the A-Pillar, and a mtaching one for the passenger side, obviously without the guage pods, but a CF replacement for the passenger side so it was a complete matching kit.
Carbon Fiber rear view mirror cover? That would be cool as well...I'd buy one for sure.
There's too much stuff to go through right now..just putting this here, for some of the people that aren't on team-ist.net...please tell us what you like, and what you don't they are looking for what WE want to have made..

personally I'd like to see something similar to the stock, but more aggressive, maybe a little bit longer, a bit of an angle maybe...

All I tried to do with this thread, is to help them learn what xA owners want in a product. It's the same as me starting a "what-if" thread asking what would you want made for your xA...only this has a respected name behind it. Once it's time to sell, I'll make sure they get vendor status.
with the spoiler describe what you want a little bit...something subtle like the milezauto one, or something nutty like the ducks garden...something based off the stock one, or completely different?

I'm more into the clean, subtle yet noticeable look.
