The wife's xA - rims on
Finally got the rims on. What do you think?
I know it sits high on the stock springs, but we may leave it that way having seen how well the rim/tire combo filled out the wells (looks better in person). I like the clearance the car has - less worries about snow, curbs & inclined business entrances taking out the front skirt.
Van's rear hub shim kit is on its way.
One thing though--now that this rim/tire combo is on the car, I think the alignment is off...that and I have to have them rebalanced (wheelmax). O well. Going in to the dealer Wednesday to be checked for alignment, and I'll wait until I take them off for the winter to have them rebalanced...it barely shakes, so a couple months won't hurt.

Thanks!
Nope, not 16's...17 x 7.5 Sportmax 923's w/215/45/17 Kumho Ecsta 711's.
A bit heavier than stock, and about 1/2" larger overall diameter because I went with the 215/45 instead of 215/40, but I wanted that extra size & am very happy with it.
It was consistently getting 36mpg with 50/50 highway/city driving, so we can stand to sacrifice a mpg or 2.
I should have waited to take the pic until I used the tire shine...I'll update it later.
