Winter mode is in effect
Well, it's about that time of year. Put the ol' girl into winter mode today. Just ain't the same.
-Stock steelies/tires back on.
-All-weather floor mats in.
-Oil change.
-Fresh wax job.
-Fresh Rain-X on the windshield.
-Even put the stock antenna back on.

And just in case things get really bad....a second set of steelies with some brand new Cooper Weather-Master S/T2 snow tires ready for duty.

Bring it on Old Man Winter!

I think I might paint my steelies gold and put trimrings and some old school Toyota caps on. No hubcaps here.

Well, we have already had the freezing rain and snow here. I was looking to have Blizzaks put on the front yesterday, but the local FireStone shop has to ORDER them... Well, I've been very impressed with the stock tires, and how well the xA handles in these conditions. I may just go with stock this winter.
I just got my new snow tires on. The first winter for this car! The only tires around here for the size I needed was the MasterCraft Glacier-Grip II. I got some xB wheel covers from ebay real cheap. I think it looks pretty cool.

I had no trouble putting the alloy wheels and tires in the back with the seat down. Had room for 2 more tires! The other guy at the store getting his tires put on had a big Impala and had a very hard time stuffing his tires in his trunk. I was in well after him and out quickly and he was still standing around waiting!
