No projectors are available, but your options are either silver stars or hid. Just make sure to get a h4 bulb.

HID's really do the job better than the silverstar without a doubt. I had other bulbs that had an HID "look" and wow they were less bright than the OEM.

I would just go with HIDs because most bulbs you get are going to be less bright than stock almost.

silverstars burn out quick too. they have less then half the life as a factory OEM type bulb would. they run soo hot.

you can check the sponsored sales and look for mobile HID. they are plug and play and have a scatter shield and integrated high beam halogen bulb to keep you"legal" 4300K is OEM facotry HID color

The question is what temp. HID ? We have halogen headlamps, and I've heard from others on here that it just isn't right putting HID's in our headlamps (and I agree from a safety perspective- in regards to respecting your fellow motorists around you). To do it right.. really you have to have projector headlamps- in use w/ HID's.

There is nothing wrong with Silverstars.. or your OEM bulbs. Just remember, the aftermarket HID guys are really just there to get your money ... basically.

I dunno what your talking about. I have had HID's in my xA headlights for about a year. Our headlights are huge! and spread out the light. The HID's end up not as bright as in let's say using the same HID's in an xB or tC.

I can't speak for blinding people however. I just am not the one looking at my car as I drive up the street. Not like I am driving a truck blazing HID's into some ones mirror.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about!
Light is light, and the larger the surface area giving off the light is nice in terms of us drivers of xA's rolling down the road on a clear dark night. There is a fairly big difference between 1200-1300 lumans(OEM/Silverstars) vs. 3200 lumans (4300K HID) in terms of light output. That amount of light kicking out of HID's , again.. in order to do it properly retrofit a projector headlamp(or buy a car that already has projectors.. many new cars 2004+ and newer have projectors). Look at all the OE cars coming out in the last several years that have HID's from factory, BMW, MB, Acura, etc ... and look at how many of those have projector headlamps. This shouldn't boggle the mind of too many engineers out there.

I have blinded many motorists with my 4300K HIDs, autos and trucks.

At the extreme, if you are to put HID's in your xA.. try a 6000K HID, and I recommend getting a low halogen bulb add on.. for a mear $3 extra(great for those rainy/foggy days/nights). Again, this isn't something that I personally recommend- but hey I cannot make/ or not make someone buy something- based on my use of vocabulary/written word here- heck, what do I know.

Is there even a 7K temp?
I thought it went
4300K = 3200 lumans
5000K = I dont know how many lumans this is... maybe 3000
6000K = 2800 lumans
8000K = not sure how many lumans... less then 6K surely.

hmm got me there. Good question. I thought my friend that I bought them from said 7K however I might have just mixed it up form the cheap JDM 7K Nikia bulbs I used to have.

Hmmm now I gotta PM my buddy. They are prob. 8K I gather then. They were very blue in his xB headlights but not on mine. They have a tad bit of blue but mostly white.

Thats why its great to get a low-halogen option w/ the HID, to use it during poor weather, and around city streets where the police creap around. Also, I'd recommend getting some fog lights at some point . Otherwise, she should be golden.

Aim is most important, silver stars are 50 bucks, hids 230 bucks.

Many people get just the low option as its cheaper if they do not use high.

I had the halogen/hid option, thehalogen bulb was offset from the hid, so when halogen was on, the light wasprojected as if I had high beams on and hid was lower.I returned them for a full hid set.
