Default xA hitch/receiver wiring harness

Hi All,

I just built a receiver for my xA to pull our little camper http://www.stevewolverton.com/teardrop.html. Now I need to wire it for the trailer. Any ideas where I can find a plug type wiring harness for a Scion? I'd rather not have to splice into my wires. Maybe a Toyota echo wiring harness? I did a search for a harness for the xA/xB and got nothing.

Thanks,

Steve

i just suggest talking to some peeps at NAPA, i worked there and they can give you some very good tips on how to do stuff. like if you want to add electronic braking to your trailer . and about the splicing the wires stuff im not sure but there are parts that you put on the end of the wires your adding and they kinda cover existing wires. it doesnt cut the wire. it just cuts the shield and a metal fork will lock onto the actual wireing. so you just connect and snap together and its all good. dunno what its really called. it envelops an origional wire and you add a third wire in and it just makes a connection somehow with no cutting. but yeah, just get the wireing harness and start connecting.
