Even though we all know it, xA's rock! mrexotica sure has about saying when you've done enough. I started a headliner project In september 07 and I'm just now getting done with it..
I'm in the same boat.....picked up a Xa a few months ago.
I have some great ideas about some exterior options...but i'd love some tips on performance parts( its kinda funny to put the word "performance" on an 103 Hp motor)...lol
Any ideas for a muffler. I'm looking for a good sound that wont break the bank...maybe $100-$150? I dont think a catback or axleback is necessary
Anyone ever used scionpartspeople.com? They have some great prices.
also, anyone tried out the new Pulstar spark plugs....they claim a great HP and MPG gain.....seems logical....but kinda sounds like that ol' Tornado air swirly thing...?
Thanks

Yeah.. Spark Plugs can help with your MPG.. Not hugely. If a spark plug is more efficient in it spark, therefore it burning power, you'll use less fuel. It may not be a huge increase, but there should be some.
As for a muffler, I really like my Greddy DT. I found it on ebay from the GReddy outlet, so it wasn't used and was a great price.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRedd...2em118Q2el1247
Its running 99.95.. And mine sounds AWESOME!

Welcome to our newest!! Like everyone else says, it's your car and it should be your style! The best body kit advice is get quality. Too many $500 kits need $2000 worth of bodywork to get it to fit. If you can't afford a good one, just wash and wax what you got til you can.

Yeah.. I don't want a body kit for mine, but I still like the xA's that do. You also might consider where you live. I don't live in the back hills, but a lot of people around here do, which means they brings a lot of junk to the road, like big rocks that would tear right through a body kit.
I want a lip kit so bad I can taste it... I need it because I hit something and split my stock bumper below the lower grille....so a lip kit that sits lower should have a loooong healthy life, shouldn't it? ;)
