no. pure pricing means you pay the price on the window sticker.

find a demo, or one with very low mileage. only way to cut a good deal, thats how I got a good deal on my ride(06 xa 5speed $11k with only 3800 miles). another thing is to buy one off a non toyota lot, mine was on a bmw lot. good luck in ur search, and be patient you'll find a good deal.

There probably won't be many leftover 2006 xA's by Summer anyway (although the dealer near me still has one).

They should be lower in price since they are discontinued, but like someone said, the Pure Price stuff probably means they won't discount. Alot of people love Pure Price. I hated it. I would have preferred to deal on the car. I had time and I would have been happy to walk away from any deal I didn't like.

well, the pure price is great because it means that the dealership can't jack you up the @$$. i mean, scions are marketed to younger people buying their first new car. they probably did it to keep it simple and keep the dealerships honest.

alot of people had to wait in line to get their scion's, but atleast you waited and still paid only the window sticker. try getting a honda fit without a premium charge.

anyway, while they might not discount the price per say, maybe they'd offer lower interest on the financing, throw in some accessories for free if you'll take it off their hands etc. incentives are not limited to the price of the car itself.

My dealer told me that the Scion Boost program will be running again. You can still check out the old boost program at http://www.scion.com/boost

Wow, I'm amazed they still have the old boost site up. The boost program had some pretty inexpensive stuff in my opinion. Most of it was worth like maybe $300 which is nothing when you're buying a car. If they give me like 0% financing or something good like that I'll be all over it...

I too wish u could deal on a new scion but the pure pricing thing has been working out good for the consumer so far. I was lookin at used scions b4 I got my current ride and these toyota dealers r on drugs. they're asking $15k for an 05 model with 32k miles on the clock and they still don't want to deal. The best has to be a yaris I went to look at with 2700 miles on the clock. Dealer wanted almost $15k 4 it and would only come down afew hundred, and the best part was that he insisted it was still considered a "new" car. Yea right someone drove it for 2700 mile therefore its used plus for the same money I can order a brand new one. I went to look at it in November and the car is still on the lot, lol.
Anyway back on topic the one thing that reall annoyed me was the fact that they don't offer financing lower than 6% which is absolutely unacceptable. Alot of other companies including toyota have specials where u can get 0% or near it. They should offer something in the mid 4% range at minimum for people who have excellent credit not 6%. All I can say is if I can save alot of money on interest alone that would be enough for me to look at another brand than scion.

Though for the price range of an xA, there isn't a car that I personally like enough that I could see myself driving for 4-6 years.

Pure price is good, but if the car has a previous owner they should work a lot more with people on the price, not to mention start out with a lower price.
