Default xA is really getting my attention!

I just ordered a tC a couple weeks ago and its suppost to come in someday this week, but to tell you the truth the more and more I see pimped out xA's just lowered with some nice ___ rims im starting to change my mind.

I knw this might sound crazy but I might switch it up and get an xA.

I was just wondering if some people on this forum could post some pics of there pimped out xA's abd post some links to them for me. Thnx

I don't have rims on my xA yet. I am absolutely in love with my car though, I highly reccomend saving your money on the tC and going with the xA. :D

think of it this way, everyone and his mama is gonna have a tC.....it's basically the new civic....the xA doesn't have as much fanfare. but, personally i think the xA is a really good platform for people who aren't rich. cause it's very upgradable as far as looks, and performance will come with time. save your money, buy the outcast brother of the scion bunch.

Your bashing of the tC -- with nothing to back it up at all -- is getting old, CyberGypsy... :?

Yea they just look really nice. The only reason im really leaning toward the tC is because of the hp. and its a 2.4l which loves the turbo!

But yea ur right xA's are the outcast but in my opionion they look the best with rims and dropped!

That is true the tC is becoming way to popular and thats ___. Plus I ordered a Fint Mica thinking no one esle would want that color and everyone and there lil brother have gotton that color.

So we will see cause im going to go Test drive an xA tomarrow!

Even if the tC were the same price as the xA... id have gone with the xA. The tC STILL resembles every single car on the road. Its a rebadged Toyota. Its unoriginal, uninspired, and dull.

As much as I agree that we like the xA more than the tC what you are saying is quite the opposite. tC is unique to the US only and is really the only Scion designed to be a Scion. Sure it has the underpinnings of the Avensis but that is a sedan. The xA is just a Toyota Ist for the US market.

Actually, I think the point was (correct me if I'm wrong) that even though the tC might be a totally new design for Toyota (whereas the xA and the xB are the US versions of Japanese cars), the xA and the xB are much more distinctive designs. I admit, I'm not much of a sports car connoisseur, but the tC doesn't really stand out as much as the other two Scions. At least not in the US.

here's sumthing to think about: looking just at the msrp of the cars, with a 16,000 dollar budget, yu end up saving 3000 if yu go with the xa. invest a little over 1 thousand for springs, wheels and tires and yu'll already have a badass car that stands from the crowd. and, still, you would have about 2000 left for more mods or just to stuff your pockets with.

Okay guys well I went to the dealership yesterday and test drove an xA! All I have to say I think this is the car I want.

I really enjoyed the car. Im going back Fri to maybe purchase one or just keep the deposit I have on the tC.

And like all you keep reminding me that with this being so much cheaper mods come much faster.

If I do get the xA what do you guys think I should go with

White xA
/w these rims?

or

Black xA
/w these rims?

or

Phantom Gray xA
/w these rims

or

Does any one have info on that wheel? I e-mailed axis & asked them about what the weight is, & the offset. I did this last friday & still have not heard back from them.

you better have a hot modded xA than a standard tC
i think insurance is cheaper also for the xA than tC
i heard tC have problems and in my opinion tC is not uniqe, the car design is mostly like adopted from other cars but the xA has its uniqe design

i will say go with blue color with the #1 or #2 rim

take a look at my profile

Personally I think the xA is a bit more unique. As an ex. here in oklahoma you can see 1 or 2 xB's every three days, for a Tc one a week and for an xA it would be about one every two weeks and is the dude that goes to the car wash the same day I go.
