Hey all you xA owners, (yes I'm one also).
I can get the rs 1.0 grill for $109. plus tax. special order, so it would take a few days to get. I just looked it up and was pleasantly suprised at the price.

Is this pre-painted red, or unpainted? Factory peice, or replica? I'm pretty interested for that price.

 

That's a good price! For a factory piece... A little steep for a knock-off.

The RS1 grille on the xA is the best RS grille ever.

Ok scionicle have you allready odered a grill and recieved it? I work a dealer and tried to get one but when the grill came in it actually was the stock xa grill in rs1 red. Double check and let us know.

I have not yet recieved it.
I looked up the part# and made the order myself.
So, when I have it in my hands, I will answer if it's really a rs 1.0 grill or not.

The correct part # was given to me after some contact with Toyota/Scion
parts hq.
They really want $505.49 for the rs1.0 grill

Well, it is an RS part. Pricing you out of faking the funk, as it were,
so people have a reason to buy RS. It is a nice look, but $500 is pretty high.

But then I heard it makes the car go faster?

 

I most certainly does! I get at least an extra 8hp for the grill on my RS2. Also, turning on the blue pimp lights is like a 75 shot of N2O.



God I hate talking about rice, it makes me crave egg rolls.

 

I went through the same problem when I bought my car. Tried to get the RS1.0 grille as part of my deal, but when it came in it was a stock grille in 1.0 red. Wound up buying my grille at www.myautofashion.com for $265.00 delivered.

 

yeah I dont think anyone hasnt been fooled by it. I asked why and this is what they said.

The car comes with the reg. red grill but once the get it on the dock they take it off the regular grill and pop on the rs grill.
