xA RS 1.0 wind noise from moonroof
FYI,
When you go between 30mph-45mph with the moon roof fully open, you get this very high bass wind noise. It's very very loud. If you want to fix it, just don't open your moon roof fully. Instead of 100% open, only open it about 80% and it'll fix it.
Cheers,

I think the moon roof opens to about 80% automatically -- you can get it open further if you press the 'open' button a bit more. I don't know if this helps the sound issue (it has been too cold out to use the dang thing lately).... but i thought i'd mention it. maybe the extra bit will make the sound less, too????

I was on the highway today at speeds in excess of 65 mph. Only open the roof as far as it goes until it stops itself and you should be okay. I've been told and judging by the sound you hear that opening further while driving at more than 30-40mph is dangerous for the car.
It's not dangerous for the car, it's simply wind buffeting. The wind fly's over your windshield, and as it comes back down, it spirals directly into your wide open sunroof, causing wind noise.
I would imagine that this is the same concept that produces a sound when you blow over a flute or a soda bottle. Just a bigger bottle.
I've seen this happen in an old Subaru that a friend of mine had, and also in a 1992 Camry, and in my own xA. I think it's pretty much going to happen. Just have to either close the moonroof a little bit, or crack a window. Either way changes the air flow enough to stop the buffeting.

This happened to me first because I would open the moonroof manually, but if you just let it open automatically and get used to it then you will never hear it again, I do have the problem with the same noise if I open just one of the rear windows, I fix it by opening another window but it would be nice not to even have to do that.
