HELL YEAH! you are my hero!
lol that is really amazing that the xA did it with no problems. Shoot I'm willing to return my box back to stock if that means I'll be able to tow a ski (I would have problems with it being as low as it is right now)

...hehe...yeah. They are pretty close (126" compared to 154" for the xA). The waverunner is supposed to have the xA beat on hp though, at 110hp.

Well, here's the long awaited photo:

Yes, I think the waverunner is actually a bit taller than the xA, on the trailer anyway

That is freakin awesome... so it tows pretty easy? Would you feel comfortable going a longer distance with it than the local lake?

So far I have only towed it around the boat club area to and from it's parking spot because I haven't been able to find an easy to do wiring kit for the trailer. I was hopeful that a kit I saw for the xB might work with the xA, but the company rep I got an email from said it wasn't for the xA only the xB (can't imagine they are that different, but...) I can't for the life of me figure why they'd make a kit for one and not the other.

In that short distance it does tow pretty easy. I don't notice any struggle from the car and my only real concern was getting it into and out of the water which was no problem. Yes...given what I've seen so far I think I'd consider a somewhat longer tow. Not sure I'd do 100 or more miles one way, but I'd definitely do 50...at least for the first trip. Maybe more after that.

The xB kit looked like it had the same tail light connectors so I got the Curt 56030 xB kit (for '06 models) and figured I could rewire the plugs if needed.
I had to move three pins in each plug to match the xA taillight pinout but other than that it was a plug-in install. It works like a charm and can be removed in 5 minutes.
