Hi guys I have a 06 XA running on 86K and last year I changed the belts and spark plugs to try and fix a very small engine squeaking that the car will make every morning.
Now the sound is a bit louder and it can be heard whenever I:
Turn the A/C on, Start the car,turn the wheel within the first 5 minutes after turning the car on and while I wait for the gates of the apartments to open. Some ppl have told me it could be the A/C compressor or the water pump and based on the location of both it'll cost between $1500 and $2500 to fix and/or replace those parts, I would like to know what you guys think it is and if anyone has ever had the same problem.

My roommate had a similar problem with his Golf, it turned out to be the alternator that was making the noise, It may be something that you want to look into.
