Ok hopefully im not the only one out there with this issue. I have an 07 tc that i purchased back in in aug 06 and i noticed that my car idles at redline. I know it sounds weird and i didnt believe it myself but its true. Unfortunately all my friends that have a tc its either and 05 or 06 and you all know then engines are diff in the 05-06 then the 07-08. So pretty much if i'm in neutral and i floor it my car hits redline and literally just idles there and i honestly dont think thats to healthy for the engine. Anyone else out there experiencing the same thing or has any answers as to why. By the way it doesn't do it in the 08 models.

 

Uh... something's seriously wrong if you're idling @ redline.

2. take that to a dealer right away, something is very wrong if thats what it is doing

 

I'm noticing that you're boosted...

Have you gotten tuned? Odds are, the dealer's not gonna do anything for you unless you fork over the green.

Turbos are the A#1 opportunity for the dealer to annihilate any warranty on the powertrain.
