the fitment is right. they wouldnt sell em if it wasnt. it's not that hard to make as evidenced by the low quality. the bends of the primaries distorts the look of how long the overall header is.

well ceramic is good but the mild steel that dc uses is not. the ceramic coating plays down the underhood temps. but yeah.
If the DC Sport is ideal.......which one would you suggest? I am in the market for a header, but I want one that will last a long while.

mac i would go with the 4-1 OBX... the collecter from the 4-2-1 just seems to sharp... my OBX is holding up good and, just to let all the DC header people know that... OBX and DC header are made from the same people... the pipes are bent the same the pipes are the same size... put a DC and an OBX next to each other and they are exactly the same... the only ONLY difference is, is that DC is ceramic and OBX is stainless steel... i would go with OBX... but that just my opinion

I have the megan. i would go with anything that is stainless. so my choices would be .

number 1 megan racing ( stainless . most can be had for about 130 shipped)
number 2 strup ( stainless. exact dc copy but quite pricy )
number 3 dc ( good except it is mild steel and mild steel likes to crack )
number 4 no name stainless steel ( cheap at around 110 shipped)
number 5 obx ( stainless but I would never trust an obx part after me and my friends experiences)
number 6 el prototypes ( hard to get , dc copy , mild steel , expensive )

Before you start spreading the wrong information.... EL Prototypes headers came out way before DC headers came out ... It was already in the works before any scion was sold ... Why do I know because my echo was the prototype...

Also the ceramic coating makes that header look nicer, smotothes out the welds and helps cover up imperfections. As for ceramic coating header, my quad was Jet-Hot coated and I've never regretted it,. I promise you ext gas temps on my quad are far greater than a Scion and it is holding up very well If there is cracking in a ceramic coated header it's usually due to either the inside of the pipe not being coated (Holds all the heat in the steel not allowing it to transfer away from the source or mounting stress.

maybe its just me but... the header in the auction doesnt look 4-2-1... either its not an actual pic if the item or... i'm willing to bet the header is actually a 4-1
