Anyone have the 5zigen axleback exhaust?

Are you happy performance wise?

How does it sound in relation to other exhaust and other import cars?

Thanks for any info!

I have it on my xb I like it overall. I didnt notice a big power gain. It is pretty quiet from inside the car but from outside it sounds good and does not get raspy. I had to do a little moding to get mine to fit. Had to heat and bend it but not to much.

everyone that I have installed usaully needs to be modified for the rear hanger. Apparently the ones we've been gettin are for the xA's. But other then that, they are pretty good exhaust systems. Just make sure you center your exhaust system first before you tighten everything. :D

HOLY CRAP ON A STICK! I just decided to search on ebay for the other 5Zigen exhausts and I like how all those other sellers are stealing my pics AND descriptions. Hmmmm, that sorta sucks... :(

Oh BTW, the exhausts 5Zigen brought over are indeed for the USDM Scion xB, BUT they forgot to account for the hanger difference, so on the way are some additional pieces to make up for the hanger so that no modifications are needed. Of course, I'm going to be getting those parts (which will be provided free to everyone who bought an exhaust from me before, and who will buy an exhaust from me from this point onward).

Here's my original auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2467381777

And these other auctions... seem kinda fishy:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2468488132
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2469551964

Ending price on one of those was extraordinarily high, makes me wonder if it was a shilling going on. They also both had the same starting bid, and one's being sold by an integra person, and the other a civic person (going by their emails), and both are from the same general area... Weird. hmmmm.....

Yeah and if you read the guys feedback he is pretty much a dick. Seems to rip people off all the time. I think there is a real chance that the person who won that auction won't be seeing the exhaust system.

Well i have been rolling around with the new muffler for a couple days now. It fit fine didnt have to do anything special to line it up or anything. The tone is nice and deep and at no point in the power band does it change and sound like a fart can. It keeps that nice deep tone that i like. The only con is i wish it was a little louder but other than that i love it.

Rear hangar minor mod, nice mellow tone does not sound like a rice racer. It weighs the same if not more than stock was not too happy about that, and it positivley lost a litle off the line and low rpm speed they say there is a bypass valve in the stock exaust for that but i did not look into it. They do work ive had them on my motorcycles and they perorm usually better than aftermarket pipes but they do sound better, My motorcycles make WAY more H.P. than my XB sad but true. overall happy with look and sound, perf does not matter its so slow anyways.
