My suggestion would be to go w/ the trd quick shifter kit because of the design or B&M short shifter which i think is just the rod. Never heard of this brand, so if i dont know anyone that can personally vouch for it i wont use it, but thats me though. Its your money so its up to you.

It's the RS type short shifter. Some people around here has it and gave pretty good reviews on it. It's cheap and gets the job done.

Only thing is that the silver ring under the shift **** will not fit on the rod. Not a problem though if you plan to swab out the shift boot and **** in the future though.

lol but of course , lol it's electrically powered. it shifts for you . " in soviet russia car drives you" , lol.

nah no problems at all. shorter overall height , shorter throwss , over 10k of hard use no problems at all. uses stock shift **** thread pitch if you so choose.

hmmmmmm i believe it needs to be slightly enlarged. I wouldnt know cuz I used a custom boot , but i believe the trd needs to be modded and the rs-type is supposedly a trd clone so...

I believe the first version that was released didn't fit the silver ring on the shift boot, but I hear now that the "new release" has fixed that problem.

If you look in the review section, you'll see the first ones had that problem but doesn't seem to have that problem any more in the later reviews. I have also seen that people on this board no longer have that problem anymore.

i have that one.. its sitting in my garage on my shelf collecting dust.

it was the sloppiest shifter i have ever felt. when it was in gear it had so much side to side play you'd think it was in neutral.

maybe i just ended up with that one imperfect mold but it sucked.

mine has a bit of side to side play but as long as it's crisper than stock i'm going to use it and love it.

Default short shifter

I bought that exact one, goes in easy, fits well.priced right and works fine. I enlarged the silver ring with a round file until it fit,in addition I cut another 3/4" off the shifter and Mig welded it,I have long arms and like a short shifter.I also installed the sealed bearing inserts that replace the rubber mounts at the end of your shifter cable where it attached to the trans housing, this kit was $10 on e-bay and in conjunction with the shifter it really tightens things up. Then again some folks may not want that. Performance minded freaks will.

I had that one. I switched to Randy/Randode's shifter. The nice thing about the R*S Shifetr was it's price. It is a knockoff of the TRD shifter, so you do need to grind out a bit of plastic in the boot cover to get it to fit. The shifts on mine were pretty good it felt like the stock shifter but with shorter throws. There was a little side play but not much. I gave mine to Randy when I got his.

Got it yesterday and installed it in like 10-15 minutes. I like it. I was thinking about the bears thing, but never heard the results from people or anyone until now.

Maybe check it out sooner or later.
