Default Apexi S-AFC...

Will these work on an xb... I thought I read when I bought my car in 05 that you couldn't use it... something about the computer fought it to the point of bypassing it...

It should work, provided it's wired in correctly and tuned by a professional. You just may have to 'hardwire' it into the vehicle. Meaning once you wire it in, it will have to remain in that vehicle for it to function properly.

the stock ECU will "learn" the correction, and override it. better to get an ECU from an 05 Echo, which does not have the "learning ECU"

that's what I thought... so that means that pretty much the power engineering box wont work either... is the echo comp a known fix for this issue or just an educated guess... the theory is sound if it is a guess...
