Does anyone have it installed? tuned?

if it won't work with our ECU.. can our car run with the Vitz/Yaris ECU?? since they have the same motor/tranny setup? And then Install the SAFC on to that? cuz i know it works with the echo/Vitz/Yaris ECU...

I have the Safc II installed on my xA. There aren't any tuning places here where I'm from so I used the recommended tuning setup from the manual. The Safc II will work with our cars... if you look for the "ist" under the Toyota section of the wiring diagram, you can use that for the wiring setup. This unit will also work with the Vitz/Yaris ECU... but if the xA ECU works with it... why change it??

BTW, your car looks kinda like mine... :D

 

Did you install the SAFC yourself? or had it professionally installed?? Hard??
