I'm glad to hear so many people are interested! As far as specs. go, I'm waiting for Blitz to get back from SEMA.... but, I know for sure you're looking at about a 30 hp. gain over stock motor. I hope to have specs for everyone on Monday!

Thanks,
Mark

From what I've been told, it should be about 145-150 flywheel hp. Their not allowed to sell it yet though cuz it hasn't been cleared by blitz. Should be tho in about a week or two. I tried to get it and rotary 7 told me when blitz gets back next week theyl let me know.

Uuuum.......so $1500 to $2000 on the install alone? Either that's insane......or I failed a remedial mathematics course at some point.

Forget about the labor then just go for the Blitz and get someone else to install but they do great work if you can shell out the clams.

I dunno who's willing to fork over 15-20 hours worth of labor for free..............but to be real honest, if the install takes that long........seems like the kit is too complex. I thought one of the benefits of super over turbocharged is simplicity?

I d love to hear the details on this kit. I was poking around SEMA myself and found another company from Denmark that may also be interested in doing a SC kit for the scion.

If retail cost is 3500 msrp, i doubt you guys will be able to get it for under 3200, 3k at best. Blitz is very tight about their pricing and I highly doubt that there will be that much of a margin in it for it to be sold that low Especially for what is involved. Which leads me to the second point. Stage one should probably not even need injectors or even an ECU upgrade. Prob wont include an intercooler or aftercooler either for that price.

Regardless, please keep us posted. I dont think it will be long before we have a variety of choices for FI The more competition, the better the packages

Hey all,

Mark @ SP said he needs 10 people to commit, and he can get great prices.
Send him a PM if you're serious.
Price is well below $3000.
I think it will be a great deal.
After Monday we should know all the specs, so no worries.
Until then, save those pennies & be the first to roll an SC Scion!

Be a little more optimistic and you'd be surprised.

8-12 hours most likely but still $100/hr is pricey and most likely worth it. I had a little shop near my house install a supercharger on a focus for $50/hr and it took about 10 hours. You definately get what you pay. They fukd it up so bad the first time around and it ended up taking almost 2 weeks. These are the same _______s who later put in the wrong freon in my a/c and the entire system burned down. $1200 for a great install is worth it for me.

He will know by next week which will be cool but I'm still gunna try and find out if my friend can still do a group buy as well just so we can have a little price fight-off. Who wants our business more?

Hey, Mark-

What is the status of the supercharger kit for the xA?

If the xA kit is perfected, I might jump on the group buy, as well.

Is the blitz supercharger a roots style supercharger?

Out of respect for the rest of the people on this board and the vendors let's all keep this little wager war private. Keep everything with number's PM'd unless of course unless the vendors become sponsors.

Let's do some math here.... let say we got an semi-awesome deal of 2500 for the supercharger and 15 hours of labor @ 100. That's sums up to 4000 Gs for 30 HP.

Is it me or is that a bit much for 30HP (not sure if whp or crank hp) gain? Just my 2 cents which what I have in my pocket right now....

No prices out loud.
If the blitz isn't under warranty, and with that kinda cash, engine swap. Will the blitz be under warranty cuz if not, I aint gunna wait for trd. I already have the gt engine sitting next to me and that still is only gunna be 155 flywheel, same thing, same price. If both aren't street legal, thats a 4k waste for most people.
