Default Borla installed

Well, I installed my Borla axle back today. I bought it used off a fella here on scionlife. (Thanks Tony ) Anyway, the install was a snap, as I suspected. I had to use some lubricant spray and a screwdriver to get the muffler off the hangers. Otherwise it was a piece of cake.

I love the sound. I can barely tell the difference inside the cabin, but it's definately deeper outside. No tin can sounds, no rattles, just a nice smooth and deep sound. I'm very impressed!

I can't say anything about the power - my butt dyno isn't calibrated. Driving it on the highway today, I'll say that there's more midrange punch at part throttle. It feels smooth and I certainly don't feel a loss in power. I'd imagine at least a few hp to the wheels, but who knows when I'll get the xB on a dyno. Probably never.

I'm pondering getting some 2" piping run from the resonator to the axle back to finish off the exhaust. Hmmm...

Congrats! I have mine going all the way from the engine back, with the AEM CAI. I love the sound, and the extra horsepower.

Let us know what the dyno says. I am curious about it.

Cool man!! Glad you like it. Im still surprised at how fast it was getting to you, thats amazing. I'll have to ship things more often with DHL! Have fun with it.

Yeah I was surprised when it showed up so early, too. I wasn't going to complain, though. Thanks again!

If I do wind up opening up the pipe before the axle back, I'll try and get the beast on a dyno some time. In the past, dyno runs always prompted me to mod more...
