CAI Intake/Exhaust questions...
Alright, this is a two part question:
1. Intake. I just installed my Injen CAI today, took it for a test drive and everything was working perfectly. I came back home, had some dinner and then wanted to go on a longer drive. While I was exiting the gas station, the engine stalled on me. It was not raining outside when it happened, I was just making a turn low speed turn and the engine just cut off, without any jerking like what happens when you let go of the clutch while in gear and being stationary. It was very strange because it only happened that once. I took it around town for 1 1/2 hour, maybe 2 hour drive and it didn't happen again. I followed the DIY instructions and the Injen guide to the T. Only difference I noticed from the two manuals is that I didn't have a "metal thingie, as per the DIY", on my stock intake box, just the VSV. Maybe I got the hoses installed wrong after I got the intake on?
2. My exhaust makes a rattling noise when going over speed bumps and rough roads, it sounds like its loose somewhere but I checked the two rubber grommets and the clamp, everything is secure. Is this something to worry about or is it pretty normal for xB exhausts? BTW, it's a cheap Tsudo exhaust if that makes any difference.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

First off did you pull the ECU fuse for 10 minutes to reset it? Whenever changes are made on engine parts you must reset the ECU so it can relearn how to run with the new stuff.
The exhaust prolly just needs to be loosened and repositioned away from where ever it's hitting. Jack it up and move it around by hand. Chances are you will find where it's hitting. Make the adjustments and retighten the clamp real good. By chance did you use a new gasket when you installed the pipe? You old gasket may have come unwound and need replacement. That happened to me when I went to put on my Strup. Hope this helps and hollar back with what you find or correct.

I put the purge valve lines on backward after installing mine, and it would die after fueling...
I switched them back.. no problems
sounds like you have same prob, took me a while to figure it out,
finnaly looked at a diagram and realized the error..
you wont get an evap code either..
on that valve there is one nipple coming out and facing the same way as the harness plug, and one out of the top.. the one out of the top goes to the intake side hose, the other one to the firewall side hose (to tank)
as far as "CHEAP" exhaust rattle.. common
I think the internal baffles do it
