Default Ceramic or Steel header?

I was considering going with the Strup header and exhaust however I was wondering if I may be better off buying the dc sports ceramic header. Should I really worry about heat? From what I've read cermaic will produce less heat than steel and I'd like to keep problems from occuring. Any advice?

DC ceramic would be my choice. In fact it was.reason= the shifter cables touch the header unless you tie them back.In keeping the heat inside the header it also saves the paint in the near area.

And since both headers were designed by the same person, no real difference in performance.

ive got a 2006 xb and the strup header...i did not even have to move anything at all, i have looked several times and nothing touches or even is too close to the header

strup header + strup exhaust is a very nice combo imo

edit: I added pics of the strup header & exhaust to my profile. The header isnt as clear as it could be, was kinda hard getting a pic of it.

If heat is what your worried about, ceramic might be better, but it won't look as nice in the long run after the ceramic starts to crack and stuff. There are other options like heatwraping immediate areas. That or modifying your stock heatshield.
